Cookies
This website does not set any cookies.
Analytics
We use Fathom Analytics to understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. Fathom does not use cookies and does not build advertising profiles across websites. It briefly processes request information, including your IP address and browser user-agent, to create a site-specific visitor signature that changes every day, and uses it to produce anonymous statistics such as page views, referring sites and the number of times a button is clicked. Fathom does not store your IP address, and we cannot identify you from these statistics.
You can read more in Fathom’s data processing agreement and data journey.
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, the subject you choose and your message. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and, if you book with us, to arrange your class, treatment, workshop or retreat. The legal basis for this is legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this website. Netlify stores your submission and emails a copy to us. To filter out spam, Netlify checks every submission with Akismet, an automated spam detection service run by Automattic. Akismet receives the content of your submission along with technical information such as your IP address and browser user-agent.
Website hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver and secure the website. See Netlify’s privacy policy for details.
Links to other websites
This website links to other websites, such as Facebook and Google Maps. When you follow those links, the other website’s privacy policy applies.
Where your data is processed
Netlify and Akismet are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Fathom processes visitor data from the EU within the EU. Each of these providers protects data transfers under its data processing terms.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. To make a request, email maria[at]qalbiyoga.com.
